Sacred Body Tribal Style Format
Acushla has developed the Sacred Body TS Format to be used for improvisational dance and blends well with the fatchance vocabulary. Through carfeul observation over the last 8 years of dancing ATS, Acushla has endeavored to maintain similar shapes and aesthetic to the style as developed by Carolena Nerricio. Acushla continues to travel interstate teaching her format and also offers workshops at local studios in Adelaide.
“The Sacred Body Tribal format encompasses the beautiful aspects of tribal where graceful lines and muscular engagement are a focus. Acushla’s passion for tribal style is driven by the beauty, magic and connectedness that improvising can bring, therefore she is creating a format that maintains these roots while adding her unique contemporary touch of Classical Indian aesthetics”
